Heartbeat

I LOVE this song and pretty much every single song Buddy Holly ever sung.

Miu Miu + Kirsten Dunst

I love this Miu Miu campaign that featured Kirsten Dunst for their 2008 Spring/Summer collection.
Her hair - and in particular her red ribbon and Goldilocks curls...perfection! Something about all the red in these pictures also reminds me of another forlorn fairytale character: Little Red Riding Hood. Can you blame a wolf for wanting to eat her up when she's dressed in those clothes with those tresses so bouncy, lips so red and that ribbon to match?

*Howl!*

All photographs shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles, November, 2007.

WWJD: What would Jane do?

Jane Birkin, just kicking it in the pool with picturesque snowy mountains as a background setting, sipping on what I can only assume is a delicious fruity cocktail, floating above the water goddess-like in a TRANSPARENT PLASTIC BLOW-UP CHAIR. Amazing. Words fail to describe my love for this woman. She can do no wrong, and you best be believing there will be more coverage on her in the future. I've been holding back on not over-killing it with her because it is too damn easy.

I found this picture on what could maybe now be one of my favourite tumblrs: tangents and the tumblr. Love the author, love her blog too. Don't waste your time here, that girl has it covered.

Almost as much as Jane :)

My Name is Tallulah

Super cute or super creepy? I prefer to think the former, only since I know for a fact that when I was as old as Jodie Foster was in this film (Bugsy Malone...one of my all time favourites which definitely deserves its own post eventually) I would have killed to mince around in a slinky gown like that, acting older than my age. Or better still, one of the girls in the background who get to showcase all the cute Bubsy Berkeley type dance moves. Oh to be 12, living in the 70's, in a 1920's all kid cast gangster send-up musical feature film wearing fur coats, fake pearls, and sporting a dangerous Louise Brooks style bob.
